Tourism Dirham Fee Procedures: Understanding the fee charged per room per night for all guests staying in Dubai, based on category classification and length of stay.
Tourism Dirham Fee ProceduresThe Tourism Dirham is a fee charged per room per night for all guests staying in Dubai, regardless of the number of guests. This fee is based on the category classification of the holiday home and is collected by the accommodation provider.
The following are the category classifications and corresponding fees for the Tourism Dirham:
- Deluxe Holiday Home: AED 15 per room per night
- Standard Holiday Home: AED 10 per room per night
For long stays or stays of more than 30 consecutive nights, the Tourism Dirham will only be calculated for the first 30 consecutive nights of the check-in. This means that for stays longer than 30 nights, the fee will not be charged for each night after the initial 30 nights.
The guest check-in document, which is required for all guests staying in Dubai, is valid for a maximum period of three (3) months. This document can be renewed for the same period, as long as it is renewed before the expiry date.
